2014 Christmas Preparations have begun

And, we're back!  Last weekend was marvelous.  Thanksgiving weekend is usually a little to hectic, so we decided to scale it back a little bit this year and only partake in one Thanksgiving celebration on Thanksgiving Day.  We enjoyed the day spent at the farm with Matt's mother's family, the Rojemann's.  The kiddos enjoyed watching the parade and eating donuts in the morning while I ran the 5 mile Turkey Trot.  It was a super morning as well.  We had fun on Friday pulling out the Christmas decor.  Each year seems to be more fun as the kiddos remember what we do and and their excitement is just about all you need :)  Saturday we cut down our Tree at Tressel's Country Christmas Tree Farm.  Sunday is always a goodie too, Nativity BVM Parish has the annual Christmas Tots with a visit from Santa, more donuts, and all the cutest Christmas crafts you can do, not to mention their own Letters to Santa writing station!  Stay tuned for more joyous preparations and celebrations to come!

Louie reminds us daily to water the tree
