Conversation

The other night I had "boot camp" or exercise class.  At the same time we were scheduled to work at the ball diamond, so Matt took the kids along with Ellen and John down to the ball diamond while I was away for a bit.  Willa got to help work the concession stand with Grandma Berning at the ball diamond. Here is how Willa and I's conversation went when I got to the ball diamond.

Willa:  "Mom, how did exercise class go?"
Me:  "Well, really good, Willa, thanks for asking."
Willa: "Mom, say, 'How did the ball diamond go?"
Me:  "Oh, yes, Willa, how did the ball diamond go?"
Willa:  "Good, I helped Grandma Berning, I got gummy worms and a sucker."
