We celebrated Matt's parents John and Ellen's 40th Wedding Anniversary, Matt's birthday and Ellen's birthday too! Matt's siblings planned a surprise party and mass on Saturday night. The party was at our home after mass. John and Ellen were super touched and even a little surprised we think. Many (at least 100 or so friends and families helped them celebrate at mass or at the the party. The party was complete with singing and dancing in the garage, music provided by Matt's grandma on our $2.00 auction piano in our garage. We even got to view John and Ellen's wedding on projector screen thanks to uncle Dick(you know the ones with no sound). It was fun to see all of Matt's uncles and aunts in their 20's and the styles back then. We also rang in Matt's birthday at 12:00 am.
