We are so blessed to have Grandpa and Grandma Berning next door and are doubly blessed with their spunk, spontaneity and zest for life they share with their children and grandchildren so often. Here are just a few pictures to explain. This was our dinner date with them. For Christmas the last two years, Matt's siblings presented his parents with a calendar that includes all the family's birthdays and anniversaries. Also, with each month is one family that gets to host them for a dinner date. We do ours in the months of November and May (Aloysius and Willa's bdays).
