This was a great time. Matt and I rode with my mom and Bob so even that was nice just being a passenger in the backseat. Willa and Aloysius stayed with the Bowmans. It worked out well to because my cousin Megan was traveling from Denver to Dubuque and was able to stop and crash the wedding and party with us. Birdy is a good family friend and we were thrilled to get to celebrate the special day with him and his wife. Nick was also in from California, as he was a groomsmen, several other old buddies of Nick were that are always fun to catch up with. Roger and Anina also joined us. So we had a fun time partying, dancing and eating pizza late after the reception. Matt and I were ready to get back on the road to Dubuque in the morning as it was 3 hours away. However, my mom and Bob didn't need to rush back, so it worked out well that Megan had stopped and the three of us rode back and it broke up Megan's 12+ hour drive to Dubuque.
