The front of our house is almost completely landscaped now. It was kind of a fun project to do. Willa had fun one of the mornings moving the big dirt pile up front where we were going to plant our flowers. She has also been a huge help when it comes to watering the all the flowers. She gets out her own watering can and gets right to work.


This is Elly and Aloysius at Grandma Carol's house. We were over there to celebrate many June birthdays (Johnny, Ellen, Matt, Josie, Emma, Pierce). Hopefully I'm not forgetting anyone. Anyways, we always look forward to this birthday party at Grandma Carol's because she and Ted do such a marvelous job hosting everyone. This year we lucked out with gorgeous weather and the kids were able to play in the lake, kayak, ride behind the speed boat in a fun lil chair, jet ski, play in the sand, paint the deck, dress up, etc... So many games and water fun for everyone, including the babies, Carol puts out a little pool with warm water for the babies too. Elly has been a huge help to have around all the Berning gatherings. She is always looking to help out with the babies. Thanks Elly :)


One of the best things about the summer is the luxury of being able to ease into our mornings. Matt can usually make it back to the house for breakfast and sometimes a good cuddle with one or both of these darlings. We love that he can pop in on us every once in awhile during the summer time too.


So exciting, Willa is potty trained! What a champ. It was a rather fun experience for us all :)
